In 1986, Pat was commissioned to compose theme music for the NWT Pavilion at Expo 86 in Vancouver. The year prior he wroted theme music for North of 60, a weekly CBC television news and current affairs program.
From 1980 to 1984, Pat released several albums on Jamadam Records, including Roll Me a Dream..., Hornby, Flint & Steel (with poet Jim Green) and The Yellowknife Album.
